Proofreading: I Want to Make $50 a Week. (Week 4)

.
I remember when I decided I wanted to make $50 a week, and I’m in week 4 already.

So far, I’ve made $23.00  There’s also $10.00 on its way ($9.24 after Paypal fees), so once I get that, $32.24.

That averages $10.00 a day this week.

I do want that to be the norm for me on the site, and perhaps more (depending on how much work flows through and my availability).

I’m starting to find it a bit boring, though, but I think that might partly have to do with my poor sleeping pattern this month. I’ve been staying up much later than usual, not for the proofreading – just the way I’ve been for the past couple of weeks.

.
Gonna try and make $10.00 today (Thurs) and another tomorrow, then chill over the weekend.

.
I’ve been exploring other related ways to earn. I found a few video-based English teaching sites, which would have been great for me as I could just make casual conversation and get paid. Unfortunately, I found my internet connection wasn’t speedy enough, so I’ve had to let that idea go.

I found a site similar to the one I’m using. I’ve applied. We’ll see what happens (or doesn’t).

.
So that’s me. I’m working on consistency – developing one way to earn, getting into a rhythm with it — and then somewhere along the way, exploring something else, another way to earn and seeing if I can build that up the same way.

Hopefully, by the end of next month, I’ll feel more confident that I can make $200 a month with the site I’ve been using. I’ll be so into rhythm that it will feel like less work for the same amount of money, ‘cos I’d be so used to it.

We’ll see.

Proofreading: I Want to Make $50 a Week. (Update – Week 3: I Did It!!!)

.
I did it! I reached my target! Squee!

This is my third attempt at my $50-a-week target. First week, I made $33.00. Second week, I came so close to making it, but ended up with $41.22.

But this week, mama was a beast! Mama was a rottweiler! Target reached with a couple days to spare. 🙂

Again, as mentioned in a previous post or two, I think it helps that I’m a night owl, because that’s when I find a lot of the work comes through on the site I’ve been working on.

.
I’d like to keep making this amount a week, and more if I can.

I’ve never had the site open all day. I might do that one of these days, out of curiosity, to see what’s possible.

I’d also like to explore other ways I can make money with what I already know, with a language that’s like second nature to me. I feel it might be an easier way for me to earn.

I’m looking to make $50-$100 a day online. Eventually.

Baby steps. Baby steps.

I ain’t playing this year, though (or rather, I’m playing, but seriously). I have debts to let go of, bills to pay and much twirling to do.

Proofreading: I Want to Make $50 a Week. (Week 3)

.
I’m not doing too bad this week. Not doing bad at all. I’ve made $32.56 so far.

Getting close to another $10.00 cashout (I get $9.26). After that, I just need to work up to another $10.00 (and receive it by Sunday) to reach my $50 target.

The way things have been going, I think I might reach it with a few days to spare. 🙂

I think it helps that I’m a night owl as there seems to be a bit more work at that time (UK time) and less people available to snap it up. Come morning, I have to be quicker on the ball as the work can go super fast.

.
I was so close to my target last week! I cashed out early on Sunday. Had I received it by the end of play that day, I would have reached my target. I received it the next day, however.

It’s all good though, because it gave me a good head start for this week.

.
My next post will be when I hit my target, which I’m fairly confident I will. I can taste it. 🙂

Proofreading: I Want to Make $50 a Week. (Week 2)

.
I’m doing OK. Over the halfway mark now – $27.48.

I have three days to hit my target. I’ve almost reached another cashout, so that will take me to around $31.

The weekend’s looking a bit busy as I’m out both days, but I’m determined to hit my target this week. No hoping. I am the hope, so to speak! Ka!

Proofreading: I Want to Make $50 a Week… (Update – Week 1)

So my plan is to make $50 a week this month by proofreading online.

$200 a month.

Ideally, I’d like this to be the case from month to month.

There’s a site I use where I think it’s possible.

.
I unfortunately didn’t hit my target last week (week 1) – I made $33.00 – but that’s because I only decided on the target late last week, leaving me with a couple of days to attempt to reach it. Had things to do over the weekend, so had even less time.

.
This week, it’s on!

I’ve made $4.48 so far and there’s another on its way.

I think I can hit another payout by the time I waddle to bed. (I’m a night owl)

If I can make $10 there every other day, I’ll reach my target (even with PayPal fees taken off).

It’s not a lot of work. I sit there doing other stuff I need to do until proofing work trickles in. I choose if I want to do it or let it pass. Sometimes, someone takes it before I do (as I’m not the only one logged in).

I basically dip in and out of the site as and when. There aren’t any set hours.

Anyway, this $50 IS GONNA HAPPEN THIS WEEK! (she says).

.
I can be pretty laid back when it comes to earning online, preferring to go with my own flow and interests. It’s part of my nature. I tend to want to go where my interests are.

However, how I feel at this time is that I need some kind of personal(ised) system where I know that a certain amount of energy applied from month to month will earn me a certain amount of money.

This site I’m using will be one of them. If I can get into a rhythm, then I know I can more or less make $200 a month.

.
Wish me luck 🙂
