Let’s Give This Another Try, Shall We?!

I genuinely meant it when I called it a day on this blog back in August. I moved on, put the domain up for sale; didn’t look back.

But, well now I have, haven’t I?!! (looked back, that is)

The domain obviously hasn’t sold, but that’s not my motivation for reviving the blog. My motivation is money.

I had a moan to my imaginary friend, Brian, about the elusiveness of money and that maybe it has it in for me. But Brian shook his head and said, “nah ah, honey, you’re just leaving money on the table. I’m going for a jog. See ya!”

And he’s right. I am leaving money on the table by letting the domain float around butt-naked in the ether. There are ways I could make money with this blog that I’m yet to fully explore.

I’ve also FINALLY moved all content over from my Blogspot blog to its own hosting. I can’t tell you how long I’ve been stalling on that.

This blog was initially set up on Blogspot, but when I bought the .com name for it, my ass kept on putting the move off. I had the hosting for it too because I had a couple other sites, so I had no excuse. It’s just that I found the idea and imagined effort of moving all those posts over (5 years’ worth of content) somewhat daunting.

But I’ve done it now! Aaaaand it wasn’t so bad. I do have a lot of tidying up to do, but the blog’s functional. 🙂

I’m mentioning the content move not only because I FINALLY FRIKKIN DID IT!, but because there are so many opportunities I missed out on because this blog wasn’t self hosted.

But now it is! Yay! Goodbye, blogspot blog!

Oooooh I can’t wait for the attempts to hack into my blog! And all the spam comments! Squeeeeal!!!

Good times, good times. 🙂
