July: Online Earnings…

(img credit: LeSmou)

july 09
Hey. How do?

I can’t quite believe it, but I ALMOST made the same amount of money that I did in June – only difference between them is 2 cents! Can you believe that?!

So, yeah, I made $449.95. Although I appreciate what I make from month to month, it’s always nice when I make more money than the month before (albeit that this time, it’s 2 cents).

Earnings Breakdown…

Blog writing (private client)$144.00

Article writing (private client)$144.30

Story writing (Work-Online)$48.92 (£29.74)

Surveys (GlobalTestMarket, Pinecone Research, Indiefield, LightSpeedPanel) $65.92 (£38.05) // (Indiefield payment came in the form of a voucher – no camera, so no pic of it or of GlobalTestMkt chq)

Proofreading $32.32 (freelancewriters.info – £18.20, private client – $2.58)

Used books (Amazon)$13.72 (£8.33)

ebook sale – $0.66

Pickjack$0.11 (I stopped using Pickjack a while ago, but I still get the odd payment now & again)

TOTAL – $449.95

Hoof of Hayment…
(p.s.: I tend to take away the Paypal fees. Also, for pound payments, I calculate the exchange rate at the time I’m aware of the payment. I’m in the UK, but I’m so used to dealing in dollars online.)

And the Winner is…
I promised I’d give $5 to whoever guessed the closest to what I’d make in July. Annette came the closest at $412.36. Well done, hun! Get in touch with me via email and I’ll Paypal your win to you.

Thanks to everyone who entered and to those who were rooting for me to have a good earning month.

There’s a chance I’ll be doing this again, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hope everyone has a fab August. If the month sticks its tongue out at you, put on a make-shift cape, puff up your chest and show it who’s boss …by pulling a ludicrously funny face of your own.

Laters, y’all…

I am. Ebele.

    Hi ‘You are. Ajith.’! 🙂

Recession-proof? Never really looked at it that way, but yeah, I guess it is.

The ebook. I dabbled with different prices, then decided to give it away for free. Might charge again in the future.

I hope you have a FAB August too.

    take care…

Hey congrats on your earnings for this month! That’s great.. and congrats to Annette to for winning the 5 bucks 🙂

You do so well on writing sites. I love writing too but somehow I could never stick to them online :/ and it’s funny cuz I’m actually getting paid to do something I love!

I dont know I think it’s just cuz I’ve been taken up with doing so many things I don’t get the time. Managing my blog, doing SEO, etc, moderating at 2 different forums, and the occasional surveys here and there to make some extra cash. :/ I wish I could get it together and write some more. It’s good extra money.

anyway I digress. just had to say congrats 🙂

    best of luck for august!

Sa-weet! Any residual income is good residual income, even if it’s .11 cents. I am trying to find some freelance work to do myself. I need to look online for ways to get assignments. Any suggestion you have would ROCK.

    Keep up the awesome work.

Thank you, lovely! Really appreciate that.

Thanks for the congrats, TriNi. You did well yourself considering you were living it up on holiday 🙂

Hope you have a great August.

    @Little Dough Girl…

Did you look through my ebook? You might find something there. It also has links to a couple of writing forums that might be useful as they tend to share paid writing sites they’ve used. There’s also Work-Online.org.uk too. Apart from that, if you email me, I’ll send you anything I come across as and when I do.

    take care…

Thanks hun.. for stopping by and commenting 🙂

Yeah I know, Pinecone doesn’t have a referral program but I think that makes them great too! Because it shows that you CAN make money just by taking surveys with them and you don’t need to refer anyone 🙂

Thanks for stopping by as always!

    Hi TriNi,

Yeah, you have a point there – it kinda does take the pressure off having to get referrals. However, I wouldn’t say no if they decided to introduce a referral program in the future. 🙂

Have a fab weekend – and thanks for passing by.

  8. Laura

Congrats on your July earnings. July was indeed a great month for me too, when I earned over $400 also. August has been a bit slower for me, but you never know what can happen in the last 10 days. Good luck,I will keep visiting your blog

  9. ebele

    Hi Laura 🙂

    Thanks for the congrats.

I’ve been following your blog since you created it and I think you’ve done sooo well.

I’ve had a slow month too – not sure where August went 🙂

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for passing by.

    Hi, again,

I’m on my 27th day (today). Just trying Neobux out for 30 days but might stay longer.

I’ve been reading your PTC blog/s via myLot, Mr SomethingSea 😉

    Good luck with Neobux!

    take care…

  11. shyguy76767

X-D Yeah, I have been doing that, haven’t I! I recently stopped doing that, though. Some of the recent payments I’ve gotten are only on my blog. I also made a seperate blog for my NeoBux stats. Saves me a ton of time (I was compusively using a google excel sheet throughout the day, and it was a pain to keep).

Should I resume putting the PTC updates on my myLot, or leave them on the blog?

  12. ebele

I think you should do a combination of both; put very brief updates on myLot (like how much you’ve made so far) and then the blog updates like you’re currently already doing.
