…well, erm, for all of 5 minutes, anyway.
I joined SurveySavvy a while back – about 5 months ago, I think.
Though it’s a US-based paid-survey company, it’s open to international users, so big mama hopped on!
They have these portraits you have to fill in (so they can figure out which surveys to send you, if any). There are 9 of those babies in total – each taking b/w 5-20 minutes to complete.
I took one look at all them portraits …and couldn’t be bothered.
I promised myself I’d go back and complete them, but everytime I logged in, my ears sagged.
I’d kinda forgotten about SurveySavvy, to be honest – so when they dropped a survey in my inbox last Friday, I was like ‘Survey what, survey who?’.
It was a 45-min survey worth $5.
I tried completing it, but didn’t qualify.
But it’s all good. It’s given me the impetus to go back and try and finish up the portraits. But I’m taking my time though – 2 portraits tops each time and that’s it. I don’t intend on doing all 9 in one sitting.
A COUPLE OF THINGS…
– Like GlobalTestMarket, SurveySavvy pay by cheque only, which is a bit of a bummer. Paypal would have been much better, but I guess they might have figured it’s cheaper posting out cheques.
– They send their cheques in US dollars only.
– Minimum payout is $1.
– Expect 4-6 weeks for the cheque to reach ya
Will keep you updated. We’ll see if filling in all the portraits will make any difference to how many surveys I do (or don’t) get.
