I haven’t been thrown out of my flat…….Yet.

…because I’ve barricaded myself in with enough food to last me for the next 6 months.

(p.s.: my rent’s past due)

If my landlord manages to crash the door down, he’ll have to get through the Cookie Monster first.

I’ve got it all planned, you see.

Me. Clever. Quite.

My New Ebook!!: I’ve been sitting on a couple of ebooks for a while. Just needed finishing touches. ‘Stroodle mah Google‘ is basically a light-hearted playful reference to Google. It was fun creating it. I’m giving away 3 free copies in exchange for a review so shoot me an email or leave a comment in this post if you’re interested in grabbing a copy. (UPDATE: the ebook’s now free so if you want a copy, just go over and download it)

Money I’m Owed. Grrr.: I’ve received the small affiliate payment I was waiting for, plus the £35 for the panel research I did early this month. However, I’m still waiting for the most important one, the biggie, the £500 cheque for the creative-writing workshop I ran at a school last month. Short of sending a reminder (which I’ve done), I’m just gonna have to wait that one out.

The 9-5 Job Situation: Still looking.

Right, I need to go double-reinforce my front door.

Over and out…

    Hi 🙂

I’m interested in reviewing ‘Stroodle mah Google’.

You can email a copy to my primary email address.

    Hi Hindleyite,

Nope, no buyers yet. Rather than focus on that, I’m trying to concentrate on getting the word out about it. We’ll see what happens after that.

    take care…

  4. 2ThePoint

    Hey Wayne 🙂

Nothing to apologise for. It’s been a while since I’ve been to yours too. Must do that soon.

Thanks for the heads up. Appreciate that.

I am a regular reader, like your writing style, have picked up a few tips and my first few bucks online following your blog.

Now about the Ebook…bought it…read it…would have trashed it if I had a hard copy.

Honestly…I would pay a dollar everyday to read your blog but wish I could have the one I spent on your book back!

P.S. – You should sign up for AdSense ;D , you’ll be singing a different tune then!

    Hello Anon,

Was kinda smiling thru your compliments til I got to the 2nd paragraph.

    My ears kinda flopped 🙁

I found your disapproval of the ebook a bit hard to take. I’m human so I guess my reaction was normal. My kneejerk reaction was not to publish your comment as I didn’t want to air that part of your comment in public. (a reflection on me, not you).

Was the ebook really that bad? I don’t feel it was (not to me, anyway). But I do appreciate your honesty. You’re entitled to it.

I’d be happy to give you a refund if you request it. Email me if you want that, ok?

re: Adsense – I don’t plan on putting it on this blog but thanks for the suggestion.

    take care…

    Hey there!

I was waiting to see if you would publish the comment. Please feel free to take it off, because people might like the book. Your brand of humour appeals to me but the ebook was a different story. I do not need a refund…I owe a lot to you 🙂

May I know why you swear off Google? Try Overture or Adbrite (they suck!) if you do not want AdSense.

    Best! 😀

P.S. – Never thought I would have a one on one with you!

    Hey there, Anon,

Nah, it’s ok. Wouldn’t make sense to take the comment off since I made the decision to put it up anyway.

And you’re right – some might like the book. But in any case, it doesn’t really matter as much to me whether they do or not. It did a few days back though.

You owe a lot to me? Well, erm, thanks! Pay it forward.

Check out Raven’s writing blog if you’re interested in freelance writing – ravens-writing.blogspot.com. I’ve found her blog very useful in getting me to aim high(er).

Do you have a blog? If so and you feel comfy letting me know what it is, email it to me as I’d like to check it out.

I have more of an understanding of how PPCs work compared to 6 mths ago which is a good thing. However, I still wouldn’t put it on this particular blog. On my other blogs, yes, I’d try it. But not this one. Not 100% sure why. But I’m going with my gut.

    take care…

    Help much appreciated!

Don’t have a blog as of now…too busy with my 9 to 5! But I made some decent money writing online.

Would love to keep in touch…my id – articlesyarn (8) Yohoooo! ;D

P.S. – Raven’s blog rocks! On a sign up spree now!

Hey, good to know that the writing’s working for you. And yes, I will keep in touch from time to time to see how it’s going for you.

Raven’s blog is wicked. I agree.
