GetPaidTonight.com

(UPDATE: 3rd Jan ’09 – I’ve recently checked their program and there doesn’t seem to be any paying offers on there at the mo’.

UPDATE: 7th Jun ’09 – I think GetPaidTonight has kinda lost the plot. Their site isn’t about getting paid tonight anymore, but is about teaching you how to make money online. There are no more tasks or offers to complete, so you don’t ‘get paid tonight’ at all. All I can see is advice on moneymaking methods including how to earn from CPAs and pornos. And yet, I don’t think they’ve made their change of direction absolutely clear on their homepage, neither have they done so on their FAQ page.   I’m still gonna leave my review below to reflect a GetPaidTonight that used to be and if you still want to join the site, fine – but bear in mind that they’ve done a complete 180.  They really would’ve been better off setting up a new domain, but ah well.)

A SUMMARY…

GetPaidTonight acts as the middle-man (or broker) (or pimp) between you & advertisers who are keen to pay you to complete several tasks, mostly sign-ups (sign up to a survey/opinion site, sign up for trial memberships, etc – you get the gist, right?)

They’re called ‘Get Paid Tonight’ because you’re literally paid on the same night you complete your chosen task/s. I’ve tried it and it’s true, weally it is – was far from a lot of money, but I was paid on the same night I completed 2 tasks – weally I woz.

SO, ERM, TELL ME A BIT MORE…

Ok, here’s what’s up – for some offers, you have to spend to receive. So, for example, let’s say there’s an offer to join a cruise site for a $1 one-day trial. Now from what I understand, when you buy the trial, you get $3.50 in your Paypal/Egold account ‘tonight’ for doing it. So, you’ve got back the money you’ve spent, plus you’ve been paid an extra $2.50 on top for doing it – hey I’m happy, you’re happy, the whole world’s frikkin happy.

You obviously have to pay for the trial with your, erm, credit card, so if you’re uncomfortable doing that, it sort of grinds to a halt in that regard.

SO, WHAT IF YOU DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE SUBMITTING YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS?

Hey, do the free ones instead! – the ones where you don’t have to make a purchase. I’ve seen quite a few tasks like that, but the payments are quite low – average of $0.35 per completed offer – though I guess it does add up over time.

So, it would seem the offers that require you to make a purchase (and therefore use your credit card) offer more – probably because there’s a higher (potential) risk & effort involved.

HOW MUCH DID I MAKE?:

$0.70 for two free tasks

And it arrived on the same night.

SO YOU & GETPAIDTONIGHT BOTH LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER THEN?

Erm. No. I, erm, haven’t been back to the site for, erm, a good couple of months. It’s great that they pay on the same night and all, but I found the free tasks too cumbersome for the amount being offered, and I just wasn’t willing to part with my credit card details in order to do the higher-paying tasks. Call it fear, call it a hunch, call it personal choice, but at the time, I wasn’t prepared to part with money to earn money.

MY ADVICE TO YOU? – WELL, THIS IS WHAT I DID ANYWAY:

I checked out their site, but felt there was certain information I wouldn’t be privy to unless I joined. So I joined up and checked out their site THOROUGHLY. I also combed through the forums (although I found their forum slightly lacking in posts).

Anyway, whatever you decide to do, all the best.

And now for a poem. Because I love you.

Roses are dead
Violets poo glue
I’m broke as f*ck
And so are you

Au revoir, môn amie!
