Bah, humbug…

My broadband connection’s been down for over a week. It won’t be up til August. GRRR.

She breathes fire and oil rigs shiver…

It’s a long story I’d rather not get into, but let’s just say it’s not very good timing. In my world, bills and money tend not to arrive at the same time, you see.

I’m using dial-up for now. And I’m paying for it by the minute which is more expensive. Each hour is costing me about £1.80 ($3.60) during the day (and £1.20 after 6pm).

I really miss my broadband – can’t wait to get it back – but having dial-up is forcing me to streamline how I work and what I spend my time doing …and that can’t be a bad thing at all.

That’s hell isn’t it? I am going through similar pains as my puter crashed last week. I am missing my blogging m/c 🙁 Right now somehow managing with the work PC.

Hope you get back your faster connection soon enough!

It’s a real bummer. The timing really couldn’t be more inconvenient.

    Hope you’ve been cool.

petula: thanks for checking up on me, love. Appreciated.

ajith: same goes to you, too.

oldbuddy: that’s certainly a good way to look at it.

anon: though it was initially a nightmare, my sis stepped in. I’m using their computer round theirs.
